Project Management skills used in Dispute Management
Project was for full turnkey supply of complete mini mill to produce coil and plate in a wide range of sizes and thickness, capable of an annual output of 1.20 million tonnes. Retained by turnkey contractor to plan and oversee the close-out of the project under the difficult conditions of a major multi-million dollar claim and eventual law suit brought by the Owner for alleged non performance and delay.

Close out management included completing key performance tests and providing detailed proof of compliance with the contract. It also included robust management of punch list completion to ensure no additional liability accrued. In addition preparations were made to defend against claims and prepare counter claims.

Close out planning and implementation provided a controlled and systematic completion of obligations and a consequent significant reduction in enormous liabilities.
