Steel Slab Facility - Middle East

The project is for the full turnkey supply of a new steel slab plant in the Middle East to be developed in 36 months. The annual output of the metallurgical and casting section is predicted to be 1.650 million tons of steel in two metallurgical units each with a production capacity of 825,000 tons.

The turnkey contractor regarded the project as critical given its complexity and the interest of multiple parties. Consilium is providing the Project Management Directorate for the development leading a complex consortium charged with the responsibility of delivering the project. The work involves satisfying the various project stakeholders (government agencies, financing institutions and the end user) and leading and directing the project team.
